How to Monitor Domain Health After Launching Google Workspace

Launch day is not the finish line. Domains decay when DNS drifts, vendors get added silently, or complaint rates creep up. A light monitoring routine prevents surprise spam-folder disasters.

Weekly checks (15 minutes)

  • Google Postmaster Tools — spam rate and domain reputation trends.
  • DMARC aggregate summary — new unauthorized sources?
  • Bounce and complaint rates from your CRM/helpdesk.
  • DNS diff — did anyone change MX/SPF without review?

Monthly checks

  • DKIM still authenticating in Admin Console.
  • Unused users suspended.
  • App Passwords revoked for tools you no longer use.
  • DMARC policy still appropriate (raise enforcement if reports are clean).

Red flags

  • Sudden spike in DMARC fails from a single IP range.
  • MX pointing back to an old host.
  • Users forwarding everything to personal Gmail (security + deliverability smell).

Keep it simple with MailJuke

MailJuke helps you launch with correct DNS. Pair that with Postmaster + DMARC reports and you have an early-warning system before inbox placement collapses.
